Chamomile

The major effects of chamomile are due to its volitile oils. Therefore use the herb when it is fresh, before the oils evaporate. The actions are strongest on the liver and kidneys where the volitile oils stimulate the organs to purge themselves of toxins. The oils are also bactericidal and fungicidal. The oils is also analgesic, antispasmodic, antiinflammatory, and antipyretic.
