Dong Quai

Traditionally used for treating menstrual, chlorotic and purperal diseases of women. Used in hemorrhages of all kinds. It is said by the Chinese to increase blood flow to the reproductive organs of the female.
    It is high in vitamin E, cobalt and iron. Works best when used with a little Black Cohosh. (Black cohosh has been used to treat dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea and binds to estrogen receptor sites).
